Writing Like a Rose: with Beauty, Thorns, Addiction, Dedication & inspiration
Modern Scientist

Make no mistake, we humans are

wonderful monkey mutants,

whose evolving origins

are only fairly recent.

Personally, I was not

present, but I know it is

the truth because carbon dies.

A quick note: This poem starts out with a logical title, but by the end you should be completely baffled, which is the entire point. So, if you are saying “What?” at the end of the poem, just glance back up at the title, and that should explain everything. It just goes to show you that, in a world without God, nothing makes (logical) sense.
