Etherees are funnel-like poems: they either funnel in or out. Standard etherees start with one syllable and funnel to ten syllables, while reverse etherees start at ten syllables and funnel to one syllable. Double etherees are also made by joining two etherees together for a twenty-line poem (1-10-10-1), whereas double reversed etherees do the opposite (10-1-1-10).
