You probably think I don’t understand.
The second you stop looking
Is the second you’ll see
It may look like we’re opposites,
But you’re not at all different from me.

Stop looking,
And then just try to feel
All the things I keep hoping you’ll read
Every time you glance at me.
You probably don’t think I understand.
How can I show you that’s not true?
Some things you shouldn’t try to withstand
When you know you could have me next to you.

You probably think I don’t know what it’s like.
Maybe I don’t,
But couldn’t you give me a try?
I bet I know more than you think.
I think you are more than you know.

You probably think I don’t understand.
All I want is just one chance,
‘Cause then I can make you see
It may look like we’re opposites
But you’re not at all different from me.

I’m Jessica
