People are inspired, touched, in different ways. You know, the things that you nod your head at and go, “mmmhhmm! that’s so right!” Or the stuff the touches you right in the soul and makes you tear up and want to do something about it. That, my friends, is the mark of quality work: inspiration.
My inspiration often comes from literature or events, the stories in my life. But, not every piece of writing inspires me. In fact, there are only a select few pieces of literature which I find truly commanding, and I think this is the case for most people.
The difference is: I want to share those pieces I like best with you. I want you to be inspired by them like I’m inspired by them, like an art museum full of wonderful pictures on display. Maybe, then, these great works will continue to be celebrated and shared, and you, the reader, might be inspired by them as well. And, in turn, you might even take action, embrace the challenge and inspire me right back!
Just so you know, everything in this category is NOT MINE, but the works of those who live alongside me and have come before me. Thus, to ensure the upmost respect for each author’s work, I have posted the author’s name beneath each work, along with the title. And, because I can be inspired by any number of things, there isn’t any limit to the number of works I choose to put here.
I look forward to sharing with you the writings that inspire me and which I find masterful. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. 🙂
