About “The Rose”

This blog is dedicated to:

Writing, Like a Rose: With Beauty, Thorns, Addiction, Dedication, and Inspiration

This heading means that I have created this blog because I wish to share my writings, some of how I imagine the world, with you, the reader. Because, without readers, a writer’s work eventually loses its value over time and goes unseen. Therefore, because, on the contrary, writing should be enjoyed, expressed, and shared, I present this blog to you. It’s my hope that we can enter into the timeless relationship of author and reader, and that my work may eventually inspire you on your life journey, just as it continues to inspire me on mine.

This blog basically contains all of the work I have ever written that I believe is worth publishing. I have entitled it “The Rose” because, in my experience, to me, the concept of writing is comparable to a rose: while it is beautiful, it also has thorns of sadness, something which is generally applicable to the whole process. Of course, the exact details of how this plays out is unique to every individual. For me, writing is something amazing, addicting, inspiring, complicated, intriguing, and something I’m completely dedicated to. Consequentially, I’m very passionate about it, and I know without it, my life would be incomplete.

While I hope all of this comes through in anything I write, this site has mostly seen more of my creative pieces, rather than my journalistic ones. Nevertheless, this blog is not restricted to any sort of writing, but is a celebration of all kinds of it. Therefore, I encourage you to check out all of the writing that is posted here, and I greatly hope that you have a pleasant time while you are doing it. So, again, I thank you for or sharing in my writing addiction, and I hope you enjoy “The Rose”! It’s ready for you; right this way, please!
